Cosmetic Dentistry Procedures

There’s no reason to hide behind less-than-perfect teeth. After all, a clean, healthy mouth and a beautiful smile are your best assets! Our practice specializes in a wide array of cosmetic dentistry procedures, including bonding, crowns, and veneers, and we aim to give you the dazzling results you want—and deserve. We are devoted to giving you the exact look you desire, whether that requires delicate enhancement or more complex procedures.

Veneers

An excellent alternative to crowns, veneers can perfect your smile by masking stains, hiding chips, correcting misalignment, and creating uniformity. Veneers, which are made of thin, customized material designed to slide over the teeth, look incredibly natural, are long lasting, and are relatively easy to apply. Please contact us today to find out more about veneers.

Crowns

Also called caps, crowns are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over teeth to conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured, or chipped teeth. Crowns minimize physical discomfort in and provide support to damaged teeth. Ultimately, crowns can improve the overall appearance of your smile while making your teeth more resistant to injury. For more information about crowns, please contact us today.

Bonding

A smile can be dulled by stained, chipped, cracked or misaligned teeth, but bonding can quickly and painlessly restore your smile’s natural beauty. During the procedure, a thin coating of plastic or resin is painted over the damaged teeth, strengthening them and making them virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth. To find out if bonding is the right option for you, please contact us today.

Tooth Whitening, featuring Rembrandt® Sapphire one-hour in-office bleaching

Many of us feel that our smiles are most striking when our teeth look especially white, but unfortunately, soft drinks, coffee, tea, and tobacco can leave behind ugly stains. To help you restore your gleaming, bright white smile and to give you an added boost of confidence, we offer many options, such as in-office bleaching and take-home whitening procedures.

Although the Rembrandt® Chairside bleaching system can be used with or without a light, we use the Rembrandt Sapphire curing light in conjunction with Rembrandt Virtuoso Lightning® Gel to produce more shades of lightening in less time than use of the gel alone. In addition, whitening results do not relapse significantly, with less than half-a-shade loss after one week. Please contact us today to learn more about our tooth whitening options or to find out which one is best for you.

Invisalign®

Invisalign® is a revolutionary way to help you get even, straight teeth without noticeable, painful metal braces. Virtually undetectable, Invisalign aligners are made of strong, clear plastic that gradually guides your teeth into perfect alignment. Unlike metal braces, they have no wires or brackets on which your lips or gums can snag. During your first evaluation, Dr. Eltzroth will help you determine if Invisalign is a good option for you. Next he will design a treatment plan and take tooth impressions, from which Invisalign will develop accurate, personalized tooth-straightening devices, called aligners. Aligners slide directly over your teeth and are replaced every two weeks as your teeth shift into place. Depending on your case, you will wear them full-time (except when eating or drinking) for 12 to 48 months—no longer than you would wear traditional metal braces—and see your orthodontist about every four weeks for check-ups. To learn more about Invisalign, please contact us today.

Metal Free Dentistry

Given a choice no one, likes to have metal crowns and bridges inside one's mouth. Metal is also known to cause allergy in some individuals. This is the reason that in many European countries metal crowns and bridges are actually banned. Our fillings are also metal free.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Gone are the days when tooth ailments and cavities could only be treated with unsightly metal fillings. In fact, amalgams (common silver-colored fillings), although easier to place, have many disadvantages. They contain mercury, leaking may occur, they weaken teeth, and have an unsightly appearance. Although tooth colored fillings require more time and skill to place, Dr. Eltzroth believes that the benefits far outweigh these drawbacks. Today, modern, tooth-colored fillings made of durable resin or porcelain can be bonded to your teeth for a stronger, more natural-looking effect. These revolutionary fillings are virtually undetectable. To find out if tooth-colored fillings are a good option for you, please contact us today.

Smile Makeover

Sometimes referred to as "immediate orthodontics," smile makeovers create stunningly beautiful results. Using natural-looking, tooth-colored veneers, crowns, or dental implants, Dr. Eltzroth can help you create the stand-out, light-up-the-room kind of smile that you’ll want to show off. People love how a smile makeover can whiten, lengthen, and even straighten teeth. Smile makeovers promise dramatic results, no matter what your concerns are (chips, gaps, stains, mild crookedness).

Bridges

Sometimes a bit more work is needed to give you the smile you want. If you are missing teeth, having trouble speaking or chewing, and noticing strain when biting, bridges may be the ideal procedure to help make your mouth healthy and beautiful again. Bridges, sometimes referred to as fixed partial dentures, literally bridge gaps between teeth by filling them with strong, natural-looking artificial teeth. Bridges can only be removed by a dentist but are somewhat permanent, comfortable, and proven to make teeth strong. To find out if bridges are the right option for you, please contact us today.

Dentures

Dentures are an excellent option for people who have lost all or some of their teeth. Precisely designed and molded to fit one's mouth, full dentures slide over the gums and are held in place with strong cheek and mouth muscles. They allow for comfortable chewing and keep the mouth and its surrounding facial features in proper alignment. We are happy to offer full, partial and removable custom dentures. To learn more about full dentures, please contact us today.

Laser Dentistry, featuring the Biolase Waterlase™ hard/soft tissue laser

Cosmetic laser dentistry is a cutting-edge way to treat cavities, tooth decay, periodontal problems, and discolored teeth. A special beam of light-or a laser-is directed onto the problem areas, correcting decayed teeth, enamel, and gums. Many such lasers have gained Food and Drug Administration Approval (FDA) and are considered safe for both adults and children. To learn more about laser dentistry, please consult our office today.

Oral Surgery

Sometimes oral surgery is the best option to help you achieve a flawless smile. Dr. Eltzroth has mastered a variety of the most comprehensive surgery techniques, including dental implants, bridgework, and sealing and root planing. To find out which procedure will be the best fit for you, please contact our practice today.

Orthodontics

Having straight teeth is important for both health and appearance. Not only do we have traditional metal braces, but we also offer newer, subtler varieties. One option is clear braces, which straighten teeth without calling attention to the fact that you have braces. Another option is Invisalign, a unique new treatment option. Rather than using wires and brackets, Invisalign uses custom-made, removable aligner trays that move teeth into place discreetly and comfortably. The aesthetic aspect is important, because having a smile you love can affect your happiness and self-esteem, whether you are an adult, a teenager, or a child. To learn more about these orthodontic options for you or your child or teen, please contact our office today!

Functional Orthodontics

Jaw alignment and development (removable and fixed orthodontic appliances): We see many children whose upper and lower jaws are improperly positioned or whose top jaws are too narrow, causing a crossbite. To correct such problems, we rely on removable and fixed orthodontic appliances, such as functional appliances and interceptive expansion appliances. Functional appliances correct upper and lower alignment, ultimately correcting the patient’s bite. Conversely, interceptive expansion appliances widen the upper arch, which is naturally supposed to be wider than the bottom arch. To learn more about these treatment options, please contact us today!
